Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches, conducting forensic analysis and containment
- Develop comprehensive security policies aligning with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement 'shift-left' security practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH) required
- Expertise in network security, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and identity management solutions
