Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security monitoring systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for complex cyber threats including APTs and ransomware
- Develop threat detection strategies using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Create executive-level security reports and remediation roadmaps
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Zero Trust architecture implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise cybersecurity roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security architectures
- Hands-on experience with threat hunting and EDR tools
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
