Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 threat detection, analysis, and incident response across enterprise networks
- Develop advanced SIEM correlation rules and automate security workflows
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for financial services clients
- Collaborate with CISOs to design zero-trust architecture frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
- Present quarterly threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/operations roles
- GIAC Security Expert (GXPN) or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST CSF
- Strong Python/PowerShell scripting for automation
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Ability to work rotating night shifts on 4-week rotation
