Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat detection, investigation, and response to cybersecurity incidents
- Implement and maintain robust security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and document security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts to identify potential security breaches
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network security technologies
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in fast-paced environments
