Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and implement security controls for network infrastructure and cloud services (AWS, Azure)
- Lead incident response procedures including forensic analysis and containment strategies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Document security policies, procedures, and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and identity management systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize threats under pressure
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Eligibility for US government security clearance (if applicable)
