Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for the organization.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Configure and manage network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security training and awareness to employees regarding phishing, social engineering, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security models.
- Proficiency in security tools (e.g., Splunk, SIEM, Firewalls) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
