Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis for security breaches
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds to proactively identify emerging risks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security-by-design principles
- Document security protocols and create executive-level threat briefings
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on incident response experience
- Expertise in SIEM tools, threat hunting, and NIST frameworks
- Professional certifications (CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Excellent written/verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
