Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response and forensic investigations
- Develop and implement security controls and protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related role
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Knowledge of Arctic region security challenges a plus
