Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts within the Security Operations Center (SOC) using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in enterprise systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Lead incident response efforts to contain and mitigate security breaches effectively.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related IT role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and scripting languages (Python or PowerShell).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
