Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for security breaches and cyber-attacks.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Design, implement, and monitor security protocols and firewalls.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
