Responsibilities
- Lead and manage incident response procedures for security breaches, including forensic analysis and remediation.
- Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design secure network architectures.
- Investigate suspicious activities and escalate high-risk incidents to leadership promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience with incident response frameworks and legal/forensic processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
