Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across complex IT environments
- Develop and implement robust security monitoring protocols using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for sophisticated cyber attacks
- Design and deploy zero-trust security architectures and access controls
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in DevOps pipelines
- Present executive-level security briefings and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong Python/PowerShell scripting for automation
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure incident response scenarios
