Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud and on-premise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Perform threat hunting activities using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis with focus on threat detection
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (Security+ minimum)
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
