Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents using forensic tools and methodologies
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence summaries
- Stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory compliance (NIST, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on SOC experience
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, or GIAC preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex issues
