Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop and implement advanced security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response activities including root cause analysis and containment strategies
- Create executive-level security reports and risk mitigation recommendations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure network architectures
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Active CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proven incident response handling with documented major breaches
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
