Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for advanced persistent threats
- Develop and implement threat detection protocols for cloud environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security controls
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk assessments
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with threat analysis focus
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services
- Proven incident response handling (IRP) documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
