Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation efforts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Prepare executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Research emerging threats and recommend proactive measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (required)
- Expertise in threat detection, forensics, and incident response
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Clearance for federal projects (a plus)
