Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across hybrid IT environments
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and on-premise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Maintain and optimize SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Deliver executive-level security briefings and risk mitigation reports
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM implementation, log analysis, and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure scenarios with minimal supervision
