Responsibilities
- Lead security incident response and forensic investigations for enterprise systems
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructures
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish security best practices
- Maintain compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and log analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (required for government contracts)
