Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for detected breaches
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Create detailed incident reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC/NOC environments
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
