Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and data compromises
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructures
- Develop security awareness training programs for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security risk assessments and remediation reports
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on threat analysis experience
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security architectures
- Experience with zero-trust security models and identity management
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
