Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response investigations, including forensic analysis and root cause determination.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, update, and enforce enterprise-wide security policies and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT operations and software development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
- Train and mentor junior analysts on security protocols and threat landscape trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or information security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and firewalls.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
