Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Lead incident response protocols for zero-day threats and ransomware attacks
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure NIST 800-53 compliance
- Mentor junior analysts and maintain security documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ in threat detection/response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and vulnerability scanners
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with weekly deliverables
- Clearances: Top Secret/SCI preferred (or ability to obtain)
