Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Design and implement security controls, firewalls, and encryption protocols to safeguard data in transit and at rest.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, incident response, or threat hunting.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common security protocols (HTTPS, SSH, VPN).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks.
