The Role:
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the guardian of our client’s digital assets. You will design, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks while leading incident response efforts. You will work closely with IT, Legal, and Executive teams to ensure compliance and resilience.
Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security systems and SIEM platforms to identify, analyze, and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure and recommend remediation strategies.
- Security Architecture: Design and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST, ISO, and HIPAA regulations.
- Incident Management: Lead the incident response process for security breaches, coordinating with legal and external forensics teams when necessary.
- Access Control: Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, ensuring the principle of least privilege is strictly enforced.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate and present regular security reports to stakeholders, demonstrating the effectiveness of our security posture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certifications: Required: CISSP, Security+, or CEH. Preferred: CISM, GCIH, or OSCP.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation frameworks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
