Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM solutions (Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses before malicious actors exploit them.
- Lead incident response investigations, conducting forensics, containment, eradication, and post-incident recovery.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
- Design and implement security patches, updates, and configurations for firewalls and endpoint protection systems.
- Conduct regular security awareness training sessions for employees to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC operations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, firewalls (CheckPoint, Palo Alto), and IDS/IPS systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
