Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Continuously monitor security alerts and events across the enterprise infrastructure using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate the incident response process for detected breaches, conducting forensic analysis and root-cause determination.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments for new applications and infrastructure changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Security Operations: Manage firewall rules, VPN configurations, and access controls to enforce the principle of least privilege.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or threat intelligence.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent certification is highly desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools, scripting (Python/Bash), and network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to produce detailed technical reports for stakeholders.
