Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive dashboards
- Maintain security documentation and compliance artifacts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 SOC environment
