Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security monitoring protocols across cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for security breaches using SIEM tools like Splunk
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Develop security automation using Python and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior security engineers on threat intelligence best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SOC experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architecture and tools
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
