Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 security monitoring, log analysis, and threat detection for enterprise systems.
- Lead incident response teams to mitigate breaches and conduct post-incident forensic analysis.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN architectures.
- Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
- Train staff on security awareness and phishing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications required: CISSP, CISM, or CEH (Security+ is a plus).
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in security tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, Snort, or Sentinel.
- Experience with Linux and Windows server hardening.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
