In this role, you will act as a guardian of our data, utilizing industry-leading SIEM platforms to detect anomalies and responding swiftly to potential breaches. You will also play a key role in shaping our security roadmap, ensuring we remain resilient against emerging cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Execute 24/7 monitoring of security alerts via SIEM (Splunk/Sentinel) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Perform detailed forensic analysis and root cause analysis on security incidents.
- Manage vulnerability management programs and coordinate patching schedules.
- Conduct periodic security audits and compliance checks against NIST and ISO standards.
- Develop and update incident response playbooks and runbooks.
- Collaborate with IT engineering to harden network configurations and endpoints.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments and command-line interfaces.
- Proficiency in security tools such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.
- CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certification is strongly preferred.
