Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure pipeline integration
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive measures
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architectures
- Experience with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of cloud-native security tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 compliance
