Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection and incident response operations across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and maintain SIEM/SOAR configurations for 24/7 security monitoring
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
- Document security protocols and create executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/operations roles
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficient in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of network protocols and Windows/Linux systems
- Ability to manage high-pressure incident response scenarios
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
