Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response protocols for complex cyber-attacks including ransomware and APT campaigns
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise networks
- Develop security automation solutions using Python and SIEM integrations
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to threat intelligence research
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on threat detection/response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification (required)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and Palo Alto Networks
- Proficiency in Splunk, ELK Stack, and threat hunting methodologies
- Experience with zero-trust architecture implementation
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
