Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise networks
- Develop security documentation including policies, playbooks, and compliance reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on emerging threats
- Stay current with industry trends (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK Framework)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or CEH (required)
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
