Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP architectures for high-availability microservices
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Optimize cloud costs through FinOps strategies and resource tagging
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, VPC design, and encryption
- Champion cloud migration projects for legacy monoliths
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and architecture patterns
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Docker, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in network security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- CI/CD mastery including GitLab CI, CircleCI, or ArgoCD
- CS degree or equivalent practical experience required
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
