Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP platforms
- Optimize infrastructure costs through FinOps methodologies and automation
- Design CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Lead cloud security initiatives including IAM policies and network security
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and emerging cloud technologies
- Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization for high-traffic systems
- Document architectural decisions and create runbooks for disaster recovery
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/Go)
- Deep understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS)
- Strong background in cloud security frameworks (CIS, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to optimize cloud costs and improve resource utilization
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex distributed systems
