Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Oversee cloud migration strategies and ensure zero-downtime transitions.
- Monitor system performance, optimize resource utilization, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and containerization strategies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Conduct regular cost analysis and optimization to manage cloud spending effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
- Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage technologies.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.
