Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Design, implement, and maintain complex cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and data protection regulations.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze cloud spending and implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
- Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, software development, or systems administration.
- Platform Mastery: Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Containerization: Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Scripting: Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and scripting tasks.
- DevOps: Experience with Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
