Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and architectural standards.
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization to maximize budget efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC) and/or Azure.
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a flexible schedule.
