Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews and resource automation
- Lead Kubernetes deployments across hybrid environments (EKS/AKS/GKE)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab CI and infrastructure-as-code
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and cloud security posture management
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud engineering with 3+ years in AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD)
- Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Professional or equivalent)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Background in financial services or healthcare compliance (HIPAA/GDPR)
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience
