Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes)
- Automate deployment pipelines with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews and resource monitoring
- Implement security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption, compliance frameworks)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud architecture patterns
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure
- Expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in networking (VPC, VPN, load balancing)
- Certifications (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Knowledge of Python/Go for automation scripting
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
