Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency and performance through continuous monitoring
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms with zero-downtime strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated deployments
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing enterprise systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with at least 2 in senior roles
- Expert proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Cloud security certifications (CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in complex troubleshooting scenarios
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
