Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs through continuous monitoring and automation
- Lead cloud migration projects for enterprise clients with strict compliance requirements
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to accelerate deployment cycles
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, VPC design, and cloud-native security tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategy with business objectives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of cloud architecture designs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP/Azure certification
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
- Proven track record of designing multi-region, high-availability cloud deployments
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Familiarity with government compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills for stakeholder interactions
