Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security through continuous monitoring and automation
- Lead migration of legacy systems to scalable cloud architectures with zero-downtime strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions for seamless deployments
- Architect disaster recovery solutions and implement cloud security best practices (CIS, NIST)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Conduct cloud cost optimization analysis and implement FinOps methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with relevant certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and configuration management
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Proven track record designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration technologies
- Familiarity with federal security compliance requirements (FedRAMP, CMMC)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts
