Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud architectures on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud deployments and monitoring
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through architectural best practices
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments
- Develop security frameworks and compliance controls (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Document architecture blueprints and runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with AWS/Azure and at least one cloud provider certification
- Expertise in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Strong background in networking, security, and database management
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
