Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Optimize cloud costs through monitoring tools and resource allocation strategies
- Lead disaster recovery planning and security compliance (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct cloud architecture reviews
- Automate infrastructure management using Python/Bash scripting
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS/AKS)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certification
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks
- Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure monitoring (Datadog, CloudWatch)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
