The Role:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and high availability. This is an urgent hiring position for a self-starter who is ready to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Manage and optimize cloud costs to ensure budget efficiency and resource utilization.
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance measures (SOC2, HIPAA) within the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD workflows and improve application performance.
- Perform troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional are highly preferred.
