Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and architectural improvements
- Lead Kubernetes cluster management and CI/CD pipeline automation
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, VPC design, and compliance controls
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
- Mentor team members on cloud best practices and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance observability and monitoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP/Azure certifications
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE)
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities with troubleshooting complex distributed systems
