Job Description
We are building the infrastructure for the year 2026 and beyond. Apex Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to lead the development of autonomous, generative, and agentic AI systems. You will define the technical roadmap for our next-generation neural engines, ensuring scalability, security, and ethical compliance in a rapidly evolving landscape.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade deployment, mentoring a team of elite engineers and collaborating with product strategists to deliver solutions that define the future of human-machine interaction.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable AI architectures capable of processing exabytes of data with real-time latency.
- Roadmap Strategy: Define the technical vision for 2026, integrating emerging technologies such as Multimodal LLMs and Autonomous Agents into our core product suite.
- Model Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize model inference, reduce computational overhead, and enhance energy efficiency in data center environments.
- Talent Development: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, conducting code reviews, technical interviews, and mentorship sessions.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, product managers, and security experts to translate complex research into deployable software solutions.
- Risk Management: Establish frameworks for AI safety, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance to protect user data and maintain trust.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust; proven experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- System Design: Extensive experience designing distributed systems and microservices for high-concurrency environments.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex algorithmic challenges and optimize performance under strict constraints.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
